Perhaps you already have a baby of the same gender and so have "everything" that you'll need. Or, you or your friends are looking for a different type of baby shower.
I can help you prepare and arrange for a Blessing Shower. This alternative kind of shower is not based on physical gifts, but spiritual ones. Loved ones gather together to encourage the new mother with prayers, praises, and joyful fellowship.
I can help arrange an appropriate keepsake craft for all attendees, a special keepsake for the mom, setting the atmosphere of this special event, as well as activities (silly games are optional).
This is a most precious time of loving fellowship!
Childbirth Education Overnight Getaway
In addition to the standard services I provide, there is an "upgrade" sort of option that allows you and your husband to enjoy an overnight getaway to beautiful Sunset Acres Bed and Breakfast, everything included, one-on-one childbirth education including practicing techniques, and a one-hour professional pregnancy massage.
At the current time, I am the ONLY professional doula in our area that offers these specialized events.
